Here is a picture of Daisy, the sweet pup that Red Raven is helping through the Gizmo and Leroy fund! Daisy came to see us with severe neck and shoulder pain. Via radio-graphs we were able to determine she has early stage intervertebral disc disease, and we were able to manage her pain with conservative therapy! We are so happy to report that Daisy is doing better and thanks to you she is able to continue her therapy and pain management!
Stop in and purchase a raffle ticket to support this fund and perhaps win some free original artwork!!! Raffle goes til October 27
October’s First Friday and Artwalk weekend was busy, busy, busy! The weather, although warm, held out and Gallery Row was packed. We are celebrating the life and work of artist Mitch Lyons! Although we are terribly sad that he passed away in March, it was a special night with his family, who all showed up to see this final show of his work, both clay pots and his signature clay monoprints. We are also raising money to support the “Mitch Lyons Clay Scholarship Fund. This $500 annual scholarship will be given to a deserving clay high school student in Lancaster County. If you would like to donate to this cause please go to www.gofundme.com/mitch-lyons-clay-scholarship-fund. Definitely stop down to see the show!
Collector’s were treated to a talk from Robert Andriulli about his latest series of Urban paintings. They are based loosely on where he grew up, Paterson, New Jersey. It was so much fun to see sketches and studies for these paintings. Robert had fun getting into teaching mode again. Everyone was thrilled!
First Friday was so much fun! We featured Robert Andriulli with his latest, “Urban Perspectives”, as well as water-colorist Adam Bunting with “Personal Effects”. Linda Stetina added in with her latest Oils and it is a fabulous show. Interesting Fact: Adam and Linda were both students of Robert Andriulli when he taught at Millersville University. It was great fun to see them all together in a show!
