Jill grew up on a farm in Lebanon County, PA. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Albright College, Reading and moved to Allentown where she studied drawing and painting at local art schools.
She took private classes in painting with John N. Booth for over eight years while employed by the City of Allentown. In 1999 Jill quit the day job and began living the life of Reilly by painting full time. She continues to do so in Hershey, PA.
Jill has won numerous awards in juried fine art exhibitions on a regional and national basis. She’s won major awards in plein air events including Paint Annapolis, Kutztown Alfresco, Wayne Art Center’s Plein Air Festival, and Camp Hill Plein Air.
